Following a Decree by the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property (DRCIP) has recently announced that the deadline for payment of the Annual Company Levy for the year 2021 has been extended to 31 March 2022.

In cases where the Annual Company Levy has not been paid by the aforementioned deadline, the standard penalties will be applicable.

In addition, failure to pay the Annual Company Levy may result in the de-registration of the company concerned from the Companies Register held at the DRCIP.
