ServPRO Accountants & Consultants is looking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our professional team in Nicosia. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong foundation in accounting to grow within a dynamic practice environment, supporting a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping and maintenance of accounting records for client companies
- Preparation of management accounts and financial statements
- VAT preparation and submission in accordance with local tax regulations
- Payroll processing and related statutory compliance
- Communication with clients to address accounting and financial matters
- Support with other accounting-related tasks as needed
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CPA) is an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar accounting or audit role will be considered an asset
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and VAT principles
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a client-service mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Greek is a plus)
